Since the latter part of last century, some foreign scholars has been put forward the "career plateau" concept, this phenomenon has attracted many foreign scholars'interests, and also emerged a number of studies about career plateau's content, structure, factors etc.. In China, career plateau is still a relatively new term, and we can search the earliest paper about career plateau is the paper which is research military career plateau phenomenon (Wang Liyun. Shanghai Branch of Nanjing Institute). Up to now, domestic's researches about career plateau are mostly on the basis of research results of foreign countries, and these researches are all about industry-specific or occupational groups career plateau's factors and coping strategies. But so far, domestic and international studies of career plateau are still in a chaotic state, the careerplateau's concept, structure, type is each have rhetoric. There are many differences between turnover intention and lots of organization's variables, and lack discussions about career plateau and it's related intermediary variables. Based on this, in this paper we defined the meaning and structure of career plateau. Select the employees as samples, and career plateau as independent variables, turnover intention as outcome variable, job satisfaction as intermediary variable, and use the empirical research methods to explore and prove the relationship between career plateau, intermediary variable and outcome variable.The study is divided into three stages:qualitative research, quantitative research and discussions confirmed. Qualitative research stage is mainly theoretical review process. We defined the meaning of research variables and confirmed the research content and route by summarized the literature of Home and abroad which are about career plateau, job satisfaction, turnover intention. Quantitative research stage is complete to revise and design the scale based on the previous stage. After that, we do the preliminary test in the circle of my internship units, alumni and classmates. We obtained the official scale after the reliability and validity analysis of these data. And we do formal research by use of electronic questionnaires and network questionnaire. Through the descriptive statistical analysis, internal consistency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis on the 238 recycling sample data, we come to the relationship mechanisms between career plateau, job satisfaction, turnover intention, and we proved the intermediary role of job satisfaction. In the end, we discussed the reasons of some of the findings which have not been verified, and described the possible situations.
