Research On The Cost Managemengt Of Electric Power Engineering In Tianshui Tianchen Company

Since the year of 1998, the State Grid Corporation of China applied for the central budget funds to invest a lot of money in grid construction. So much construction funds brought the development opportunities to electric power construction enterprises. The implementation of the "independent power plant and electric grid, competitive electricity price" policy promoted the cost consciousness in power construction enterprises. Currently, power engineering construction projects have generally adopted the project manager system and project cost accounting system. However, from the environment and infrastructure of electric power construction enterprises point of view, the most electric power construction enterprises still carried out a set of cost management system as the original system in planned economy, the existing system has been difficult to adapt to the needs of the market economy. Tianshui Tianchen Industrial Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as Tianchen Company) is an independent legal person qualification of electrical construction enterprise, the predecessor of which was variety business enterprise in ianshui Power Supply Corporation. Although a certain economic benefits was created by electric power engineering constructions, due to its own institutions and systems and other reasons, the enterprise was basically guaranteed in business. Therefore, it is the key point related to long-term sustainable development in Tianchen Company that how to do electric power constructions cost management.This paper researched the characteristics, the general situation and the existing problems of cost management in TianChen Company based on engineering project cost management theory. And combined with examples of 110KV Twenty Mile Fort power transmission line project, the settings, process management, analysis and evaluation of cost management were analyzed and studied in order to make some constructive comments, to increase the economic benefits of enterpriseConstruction management is a systematic work, including the project schedule, quality, safety, resources and so on, which were all closely related with cost management. It could be seen that cost management is an important subsystem of project management. Cost management focused on predicting cost, the decision-making of cost, planning cost, accounting cost, analyzing cost, and assessing cost. Cost management was the core of project management.
