A Research On The Schedule Management Of X Nuclear Power Project

Nowadays, faced with the increasingly deteriorating natural environment, ecological imbalance, and exhausted resources, people around the world are paying more and more attention to environmental protection and badly need clean energy. Actually, as a sort of clean energy, nuclear power has become much safer in the 21st century with the development of technology. What's more, it also will be a focus of energy development in the future.Nuclear power project features long construction cycle, huge investment and complicated interface management, and all of these contribute to more difficulties. Throughout and key to a nuclear power project, project schedule management is particularly important. Centering on relevant theories of project management and schedule management of nuclear power project, the author analyses general patterns of project management, and displays distinctly the structure of project schedule management system by introducing and intergrating schedule plan system, schedule control system and schedule management system. In this paper, the management pattern differences between nuclear power project and other projects are analysed through introducing international advanced project management patterns of nuclear power projects and considering the features of nuclear power project. Management patterns of nuclear power projects in China are introduced and close attention is paid to the unique construction management pattern of X nuclear power project. Besides, combing with the specific condition of X nuclear power project, the author makes proper suggestion for its schedule system structure, schedule development, and main contents of plans, and proposes working out interface plan so as to deal with the complicated interface relations of nuclear power project in a more professional way. Analysing the management relationship with the specific condition of X nuclear power project and probing into the difficulties in schedule management of X nuclear power project, the author gives advice on its schedule management organization and responsibility division, and adopts traditional method plus innovation in evaluating schedule measurement to propose proper suggestion for it.
