Study On The Process Management Mechanism Of Nuclear Power Construction Project Under EOC Model

EPC model is a popular project management style and is widely used inmost international project, The model is also gradually accepted by someinternal project of China. Recent years, EPC model begin to be used innuclear power construction project of China.This dissertation analyze the feasibility of the application of EPC modelto nuclear power construction project; We propose the characteristic of theprocess management of nuclear power construction project under EPCmodel;and compare the difference between the EPC model and the traditionalcontract model; We analyze unclear factors that may affect the process ofnuclear power construction project; and try to propose the factors that willaffect the process of nuclear power construction project based on the result ofour investigation; Then, we compare the characteristics and advantages ofthe project management style between the EPC model and the non-EPCmodel.This dissertation introduce the concepts and methods of the EPC processmanagement mechanism of nuclear power construction project. Then, theEPC process management mechanism is decomposed into the sub-systems of decision-making mechanism and information transmission mechanism etc.Using ISM analysis method, we compare these sub-systems, and set up areachability matrix that can be decomposed by region and level. Further, weset up a Hierarchical model to analyze the effect factor on the process ofnuclear power construction project. Finally, we employ Matlab program tocompute the weight of each sub-system, and analyze the key factor on eachsub-system.The contribution of this dissertation is as follows: first, pointing at therelationship among the owner, contractor, and supervision, we analyze themanagement mechanism of the process of nuclear power constructionproject under EPC model. Then, we set up a interpretation model of themanagement mechanism of the process of nuclear power constructionproject under EPC model, and a relation diagram of each sub-system and eacheffect factor. Further, we propose the method and policy implication of theprocess of nuclear power construction project under EPC model. Thesemethod and policy implication will contribute the development of nuclear power construction in China.
