with the development of social economy in China, the standard of living and the level of consumption increasingly improve. As the saying is:food is the first necessity of the people. Therefore, the demand of food in increasing.China is the major country in producing food, as while as in food consuming. Since the reform and opening-up, Chinese food production enterprise has been making tremendous achievements. Basically, food supply can meet the needs of development on national economy. However, the issue of safety food has been brought to public attention, such as Sanlu Milk Power, Jelly, badly excess in the content of benzonic acid and sobic acid according to the State Standard, non-permissble artificial colour "Sou rou jing ""diao bai kuai" ect. The issue of food safety has became a social focus which is correlated with national interest and people's livelihood. Hence, it is necessary to address the problem of food safety practically.This thesis first discusses the concept and connotation of food safety and safe food production and further elaborates the correlation theory of business ethics.In addition,by case of Sanlu Milk Powder,it analyzes the problems of Chinese food safeunder the aspect of food technology,production,marketing and consumption. On that basis,it dissects the reason of the unsafe food production in Chinese companies in terms of the value of corporate ethics,moral cognition,code of ethics in food packaging industry and enterprise's spcial responsibility.In conclusion,compared with the experiences of developed countries,it makes a specific proposition and countermeasure on improving corporate's professional ethics and social responsibility by means of reinforcement of corporate ethics construction.
