On The Evaluation Of Livability Of The Small And Medium-Sized Town And Cities

The author of this article thinks that Livable City is the city for life and the work. And how to construct the livable city in the rapid urbanization has drawn public and scholars'attention. With the development of the economy, the urbanization also has accelerated and the urban problems are getting more and more serious, all of which lead to the development of urban construction like a raging fire. But there are various opinions on how to estimate the livability of city, and with what standard and method to evaluate. So this article has carried out the corresponding research in view of this question.Chapter one is an introduction, which elaborates the background of selected topic, the research significance, present situation the domestic and foreign research related to livable city, and proposes research approaches and the technical routes.The second chapter introduces the concept, the connotation of livable city as well as the Evaluation Index System's construction. It analyzes the concept, connotation and content the of livable city and proposes the evaluation of livable city which includes the construction of Evaluation Index System, the method of Evaluation Index System and the method of determining index weight.The third chapter describes the evaluation of livability of JinHua. It briefly introduces the situation of JinHua and the Index System of construction of evaluation of livability. the Index System include the principal of criterions choosing, the construction of Evaluation Index System and the facilities of Evaluation. At last, it proposes the evaluation of livability of JinHua which includes the situation of sample,quantification of Index System and index computation of livability of JinHua.The fourth chapter describes the analysis of the result of Jinhua's livability. It analyses from the two perspective such as Holistic Estimation and sub-index evaluation. It turus out that JinHua has ordinary livable index, and has Higher index of environmental comfort and convenient in communication in seven sub-index evaluation.The fifth chapter is the suggestion to the Jinhua's livability. It proposes several suggestions to the construction of Jinhua's livability according to the Jinhua residents' appraisal to the current situation of livable city.The sixth chapter is the conclusion.
