In recent years, the results of our steel business management major in the following areas:implementation of strategic management in general; management system and gradually improve the organizational structure; advanced management methods are widely used; stable customer relations system to receive high priority; Financial Management steadily improved; pay management and incentive mechanism has undergone a major change; rapid development of enterprise information; technology innovation management achieved some success.From 2002, The Chinese economy enters new turn economical cyclical stage, in under acceleration industrialization impetus, accompanied by the rapid growth in our iron and steel industry was the golden realty, "have a scale, production and efficiency of production much, efficiency is much". But to rapid technical equipment and rapid development and business administration lag behind, and particularly of the system of management and KPI, the steel core competitiveness of enterprises to improve the soft spot.This article uses a steel company for the research and empirical research two primary ways to a steel business performance management. The question was integrated performance management and KPI related theory and made a key performance indicator design proposal.
