Agglomeration Of Guangzhou's Financial Service Industry From The Perspective Of Global Value Chain

The economic globalization accelerated the global value chain of stretching and fragmented process. And changed the place of industry agglomeration mechanism and model. With the global value chain's each value link was split layout to more broad geographical scope, more and more countries were involved in global production activities. These values were split into the worldwide in certain link fragment the geographical space, and accelerated industrial agglomeration of globalization. Global value chain was the power comes from the affected industrial agglomeration multinational companies overseas direct investment behavior, drawing the global value chain mode of industrial agglomeration effect, then deduced financial globalization of financial services convergent pattern. This paper discussed the influence of global value chain for the financial services industry agglomeration mechanism, and gave out empirical analysis of Guangzhou economic integration into the global value chain and the process of transformation and upgrading of financial services convergent process, mechanism and characteristics.The article was divided into six chapters. First, second chapter presented the concept of global value chain, industrial agglomeration, financial globalization, financial services, financial services agglomeration. Domestic and foreign scholars under the theory of global value chain industrial agglomeration, financial services agglomeration research progress, and cleared the research objects, purpose, method and research portfolio.Chapter 3 firstly introduced the basic theory of global value chain, and then analyzed the influence of the global value chain motive mechanism of industry agglomeration. Concluded the global value chain, foreign direct investment by transnational companies to promote local industrial agglomeration's formation. Then evaluated global value chain for financial globalization of financial services agglomeration effect's mode. At last, we analyzed the impact of global value chain for the financial services industry agglomeration path and global value chain pattern under the influence of the financial services industry agglomeration.The fourth chapter based on Guangzhou economic integration into the global value chain process of review, and studied nearly three decades'foreign direct investment and international trade development change and Guangzhou financial services agglomeration features. Chapter5 focused on the global value chain from Guangzhou economic transformation and upgrading. The relationship between economy as service and financial service industry explained spatial agglomeration of Guangzhou financial service's new changes under the global value chain perspective.The sixth chapter is the conclusion. Summarized the main conclusions. Argued that Guangzhou economic integration into the global value chain and the status of the change for Guangzhou financial services agglomeration characteristic changes'important reasons. Independent innovation and economy as service is Guangzhou amassed high-end financial elements and financial services'prerequisite. Finally, expounded the innovation of this study, and the further points and inadequate research proposals.
