In recent years, with the city development and population growth, in order to make use of city space effectively, the residential buildings in city are becoming more and more higher. The high-rise house can make more space and improve the residential environmental quality. So the development of high-rise buildings is becoming an important characteristic and inevitable trend of the city development. But risk exits in everywhere, since the economic crisis, people pay more attention to risk and risk management. During the progress of engineering construction, there are many risk factors. They influence the construction progress and may bring some economic and safe problems. So correct and effective risk management must be carried out to ensure the normal construction orders. There are more problems in the progress of high-rise house construction, such as the great investment, long construction period, complex technology, and so on. So compared to the general projects, there are more risk factors in the progress of high-rise house construction. Then, the risk management must be carried out effectively to induce the unnecessary loss.In this paper, the situation of risk management in and out of china and corresponding technical methods are studied, and based on the project of Fenghuang Mountain high-rise project, according to the risk identification theory, make identification and classification to the risk factors in the construction by certain principle. Then make qualitative analysis to the risk factors, study their probability and influence, divide them into different level. According to the results of qualitative analysis, make quantitative analysis to the most important factors and estimate the probability of them. At last, put forward corresponding preventive and controlling measurement.
