Based on the fact, combining with management science and technology science, the paper has discussed the source of the reason and put forwards corresponding solution and strategy for the problem. During the research process, according to the problems in the example, relevant theories including project management, technical economy, human resource management, technical management and knowledge management have been combined for analysis and solution.According to the research on the problems for the failure in introducing online gasoline octane number detection system of DW Company through a series of theories, the conclusion has been put forwards. The main reason for the failure in this project is that the DW Company which introduced the technology had defects in management of accepting and operating the project. DW Company failed to identify and keep watch at the risk that there were not enough professional talents required by introduced technology in the human resource market during the evaluation for the technology introduction project of early days. Meanwhile, the company has made errors in management, recruitment and training of required professional talents, support transfer management for technology introduction project after the technology was introduced. As a result, the project of technology introduction failed.
