With the global economic recovery, steel demand and production continues to increase. However, competition between iron and steel enterprises are increasingly fierce. As the steel industry is a "high-yield, low-profit" industry, iron and steel enterprises in order to gain competitive advantage, reduce their cost to become an important means of approach. As the current iron and steel enterprises are using MTO, because the order of small quantity and variety will lead charge design problem and non-order slabs. This match will result in increasing costs. In order to reduce costs, increase competitiveness, we must find new ways to match the billet, billet and order more than one to one. In view of the problem above, release of the relationship between the stock and order, the orders and slabs match again. Reduce business costs while making full use of its production capacity and available resources, improving customer satisfaction.In this paper, slabs and orders matching optimization problem, establish a priority order based on the blank matching model. Model in the composition and size constraints of the conditions, to follow orders to improve the quality of the match, to improve the integrity of the contract, all the flow of steel to meet the constraints, in order to match the order of priority orders for the principle of minimizing the cost to match the target stock and orders of the match. In this paper, adaptive genetic algorithm will be used to solve the model. Establish a detailed solving process and to solve the matching model, until a satisfactory solution.Validation through the Northeast Special Steel instance, and to match the original match results and comparison of the results can be seen:the model and algorithm to generate a large enhancement and improvement for the slabs and orders matching problem.
