China is a big country in Auto sales, Chongqing auto industry has a pivotalposition in the country,it has Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. and othersfamous motor vehicles and parts corperations,production and sales are the one of thebest,To study effective competition of automobile Industry in Chongqing, to explore thestatus of the automotive market in Chongqing,tosolve the existing problem of theautomobile industry to push development of automobile industry become an essentialstep.Under the premise of market situation ,This paper analyzes the automotive industryin Chongqing,analysis of advantages and disadvantages by using principal componentanalysis matrix,and proposed to optimize the effective competition in Chongqingautomotive industry by government and business methods.This article is divided into six parts, The first part introduces the background andthe significance of topics, research status, innovation and research method;The secondpart is the theory of effective competition,introduces its meaning and development,characteristics, and limitations;The third part is the development status of automobileindustry in Chongqing,introduces industrial cluster distribution,industrial park andthe industrial chain, describes in recent years, the Chongqing government how to usepolicies to support the automobile industry;The forth part--evaluation system for theChongqing automobile industry,briefly explaines the purpose of building evaluationsystem,practical significance and design principles of selection, describes methods ofanalysis used in this article - principal component analysis,about its application and rolein the past,through empirical analysis,could calculate the scores of principalcomponents and ranking,then, get the conclution,the strengths and weaknesses ofeffective competition in Chongqing automotive market;The fifth part is how to improvethe effective competition suggestions of Chongqing automobile industry. Propsedsuggestion respectively from the macro and micro, increases market concentration,Improve the market access threshold,optimize market competition environment andestablishes industry incentive system are macro level, micro level require enterprises tofocus on the R & D,brand building,establishes internal and external industry alliances,supports intermediary agencies and improves after-market system and so on.
