The human economic action requires foothold of land. Since the speed of economic development and urbanization in our country accelerates day by day, the economic zones which established since 1984 play an important roles. Economic zones is a kind of special land use zones in city or rural-urban fringe, which can guide the formation of city economy core and economic characteristic based on the particular socio-economic background. Since reform and opening-up, economic zones have played a unique function, which can drive and demonstrate the adjustment of industrial structure and strengthening economic substance. In the past 30 years, the amount of economic zones in China reached 6866, and planning area is about 3.68 square kilometers, which outdistanced the existing urban area. With the heating of development zone craze, the shortcomings of land use is appearing, such as runaway total quantity, land and financial resources profligacy, irrational land use structure, land use capability beneath, Loss of land assets.Intensive land use is an effective means of making good use of land reserves, explore the land use potential, rational distribution of land resource, alleviating land supply and demand problems and improving land use efficiency. Raising land use intensity degree is favorable toward the proper redistribution of economic zones, upgrade industries, enhancing overall economic zones competitivenessBased on the considerations above, firstly, this text obtains the evidence that low construction level, unreasonable land use structure, land fragmentation, lack of reserve land resources in Ji'an Economic Zone and land use fully, reasonable land use structure, high benefits per unit of output in its expansion area by the way of comparing the present land-use of Ji'an Economic Zone and its expansion area. Then according to intensive use appraisal of economic zone and expansion area land, this text comes to a conclusion that investment and income per unit area of Ji'an Economic Zone is lower than its expansion area apparently. At the end, the text puts over land replacement between Ji'an Economic Zone and its expansion area equally based on the economic zone construction goal and current situation of Ji'an Economic Zone. With this measure, we can raise the degree of intensive land use, separate residential district and industrial area, integrate land resources, and also solve the problem of exile land resource ,in order to exert the window, radiation, exemplary and leading role better and drive the development of the city.
