A Research On Geo-economic Cooperation Of China And Its Neighbors

Western scholars first put forward the concept of geo-economics in the early 20th century, 90s. From the broad point of view, geo-economics is a theory that is from the view of economic location and economic relations to understand and deal with international relations. It used economic relations and economic interests to replace political relations and military confrontation as the main axis of international relations. From the narrow point of view, it is from the geographical space and historical point of view, the regional economic unit of two or more adjacent location and connected space based on the traditional economic links to carry out intensive industries geographical division of labor to obtain the maximum economic benefits by comparison interests. This paper is narrow geo-economics areas.In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this paper is divided into four parts. In the introduction described of the background, values and technical line related to this article.The first part is related to the concepts and theories of geo-economics. The second part is the geo-economics development review of China and its neighbors. The analysis of China and its neighboring countries geo-economics relations status quo, with China in which the geopolitical environment of the two sides to cooperate in the presence of factors (geo-political factors, geographical and cultural factors, military factors, geo-economic factors).The fourth part is from the four regions (Northeast Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, and Southeast Asia) cut, expounding geo-economic cooperation of China and neighboring countries in trade, investment, finance and other different areas.And from the perspective of bilateral relations, discussing of the economic and trade relations of China and major countries.At the same time, the paper analyzes that many opportunities and challenges faced of geo-economic cooperation of China and its neighbors.
