| The definition and development of Total Productive Maintenance is introduced in this thesis. The final purpose of TPM implementation is to reduce and eliminate the main seven types of waste during production. The relationship between TPM and OEE is illustrated through explaining the calculation method of Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)The thesis analyzes the three factors of OEE based on the production situation and the characteristics of the author's workshop of the company. For the availability rate, how to manage and eliminate the machine failure is discussed. The thesis addresses how to reduce the turn around time using flow chart and circuit diagram of IE, discusses how to optimize machine overhaul through using project management method, and analyzes spare part management through using the calculation model of safety stock for the machine performance rate. It mainly introduces how to calculate the machine ability and optimize production inventory.Through implementing TPM project, BB Automotive Ltd, Co Body Shop has made a considerable profit, the working efficiency for both labor and machines yields a big progress, the production cost decreases and morale is also improved. |
