Research On The Development Of Shenyang's Equipment Manufacturing Industry Cluster

Equipment manufacturing industry is one of the leading industry of post industrialized nations, it can provide technology support to other industries, so can it affect the compatibility to them. As a research and production basis of equipment manufacturing industry, Shenyang has developed a system of equipment manufacturing industry with many kinds and large scale. The program of equipment manufacturing industrial cluster Tiexi, Shenyang, was approved by the National development and reform commission, which marked that this industry has been a national strategy, and it has great significance to Comprehensive revitalization of the old industrial base of Shenyang. Facing the opportunity, we should realize that, Shenyang's equipment manufacturing industry has many problems on innovation ability, the system of supplying chains and the management system. This research can provide reference to the decision making and promoting competence of the enterprises, to making public policy of the government.Bases on Michael Porter's'Diamond Model', this paper conducts an analysis of the implication to the equipment manufacturing industry of Shenyang, that is, the forming of industry cluster was affected by the mechanism of self-reinforce of the industry and the conduction and promotion of the government. The history and the reality of international equipment manufacturing industry have proved this opinion。Then, this paper reviews the career of development of Shenyang's equipment manufacturing industry in recent years, finds the gap with other cities, and analyzes the restricting factors from the aspects of the enterprise and the government.Finally, this paper gives the suggestions on the development of Shenyang's equipment manufacturing industry. Basing on the main target, it propose that, from the aspect of the enterprise, enhancing the ability of self-innovation, cultivating the enterprise groups with core competence, and developing midfield industry are the approach to develop Shenyang' s equipment manufacturing industry. And the government should also plays its role on constructing industrial park, promoting structure adjustment, building public service platform and innovating administration system and mechanism.
