Study Of MRZ SH Inventory Optimization

With the development of economic globalization, the territory restriction of competition between companies has vanished. The competition has shifted from product, price and service to management. Modern theories and methods have been introduced to managements to upgrade the company's scale and benefits. Accompanying the achievement, the conception of supplier chain has been broader. Among those, administrators have drawn more attentions to inventory managements, which play a key role to the cash flow as well as the customers' satisfaction. New functions and definition has been applied to modern inventory management instead of material management in the past. Administrators have re-organized the different functional business units through inventory management. Based on the limited capitals and resources, we would like to achieve ordering, economically and fast delivery, inventory turnover optimization, low inaction stock, cost minimization through inventory management so as to advance the competitive power.The article is based on the actual daily problems during MRZ SH Ltd's daily operation to study the sale forecast, ordering management and stock control. Author use the knowledge in domain of supplier chain planning and control in accordance with MRZ SH's current situation and products'character to point out the roots of various problems. Using qualitative analysis with quantitative calculation, combing with mathematical calculations, model and analysis, chars and diagram description to carry out the effective measures through the theories, like demand forecasting, EOQ model and safety stock. Meanwhile, author also suggests adding new policies and procedures to ensure the measures which would be proceeded smoothly. Finally, an conclusion has been drawn about the similar methods and measures could be wide spread into the companies which share the same problems.
