Research On Textile Supplier Selection

With the development of the globalization of the economy, the world's resources will be optimized. Chinese economic quality and its steady and healthy development have attracted a large number of multinational groups'attention. As we know, as the key point in the supply chain, suppliers are the most important part for enterprises. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the supplier management in order to ensure the competitiveness of the enterprises. In china, there are many textile suppliers, but 70% of their factories are small or medium. How to deal with the assessment of the multinational groups and how to establish the right supplier evaluation system is very important and practical.This paper firstly described the domestic and international research on the supplier management. It discussed the necessary and the procedure of selection of suppliers.Then according to the characteristics of textile industry and the reference of the experts, it established some indicators which are used for multinational groups when they choose the textile suppliers. Thanks to the questionnaire forms, it could get the key indicators which have main impacts on the selection of suppliers. After that, this paper focuses on the method AHP which could be used to decide the weight of each indicator and the method fuzzy comprehensive evaluation which could give the score of each supplier. Finally, it used an example to show the advantages of those mathematical models.
