The Research For Pan-Beibu Gulf Reginal Financial Institutions Cooperation

The 1997 financial crisis makes Southeast Asia countries put the financial cooperation in the agenda and established financial cooperation framework agreements in East Asia—Chiang Mai Initiative and Asian Bond Fund. In 2007, the international financial crisis caused by the U.S. subprime mortgage crisis broke out, it makes Southeast Asia nations to recognize the importance of financial cooperation and will extend the main body of financial cooperation to financial institutions. As an important part of regional economic cooperation, regional financial institutions cooperation not only provides services for regional economic cooperation, but also promotes the regional economic integration.This article mainly studies Pan-Beibu Gulf Regional Financial Cooperation in the background of Regional economic integration. On the basis of analyzing the current situation of Pan-Beibu Gulf regional financial institutions cooperation and the feasibility to deeper the cooperation, the paper emphasis on the concrete way to cooperation, discussed the specific way of financial institutions cooperation and its cooperative benefits from the realistic level. Moreover, the article puts forward some corresponding measures according to the hindering factors existing in the cooperation to ensure that the regional financial institutions cooperative develop smoothly. The Increasing frequency of trade and investment relations between Pan-Beibu gulf regional countries has challenged the service of regional financial institutions, the multinational cooperation between financial institutions not only meet the requirement of regional economic development, but also provide a new way for their own development. The interaction between finance and economy of Pan-Beibu Gulf region has produced a great utility which can enhance the regional economic strength and promoted the process of regional economic integration.
