With the rise of shipbuilding industry in recent years, the shipbuilding companies are expanding production capacity. Guangzhou Shipyard International shipbuilding capacity also increased year by year, by the 1~2years of shipbuilding, to maintain the current delivery of the ship 18~20years, shipbuilding tonnage of 70 million dwt per year,ranging from bulk ships have a custom boat owner. Gangzhou Shipyard International workshop (The corresponding departments of the Guangzhou Marine Engineering Co.Ltd)build primarily responsible for the ship superstructure works, recorded case of a ship outfittinf areas.Build a workshop production processes, materials and more comples features. If these build-in or build on outfitting the information manually on the basis of statistics, resulting in almost all the plant managers are engaged in the collection of information,copied,computing,statistics etc,management of the affairs of busy work,time to depth by the consyruction site supervision of the construction process and speed of implementation, and their spirit of innovation are bound. Decentralization of information and because the information is not updated timely, comprehensive information not only can not play a role,resulting in unnecessary duplication of work; information orocessing fragmented, resulting in inconsistent information,inefficient management,which also led to low production efficiency front-line workers.This is mainly buld for GSI workshop current production, the use of information systems planning approach to planning and Guangzhou Shipyard International Workshop management systems and build some specific development work.First, the article describes the current GSI build the basic situation of the workshop, management processes and have some of the features. Also introduced under the current management processes,some of the problems.Subsequently, the use of information systems planning approach build on Guangzhou Shipyard International workshop was planned. One of the build-in workshop for the organization,the process matrix analysis,the use of IPO method of key business processes like data analysis ,and also established a build-in workshop management of U/C matrix,the initial recognition of the build-in workshop management system′s main modules.Following, according to information systems planning requirements and standardized break build plant engineering standards, establlsh a basic work package / send work (WP/WO)orders for the production of intermediate products of the interior work organization; entity-relationship analysis based on all the information into the production to meet the requirements of database logical model; While Guangzhou Shipyard International to build on the existing code and improve the built-in tray code,material codes, initially established a working relationship between the package and the corresponding tray. SQL SEVER2000 production information used to establish the back-end database, POWERBUILDER9.0 realization of the use of functional modules and the client to operate on back-end database.Finally, the paper concludes with an analysis of the paper shortage and further research directions for future research target.
