| As one of the most common logistics apparatuses to integrate the supply chain and improve the logistics efficiency, pallets play an active role in every aspect of the logistics activities. According to statistics, China now has about 200 million pallets and the number of the pallets increases by 20 million each year. While the pallet industry enjoys its prosperity, people have to face a serious problem that most of the pallets would not be reused for a second time after they were distributed from the enterprise. However, pallets possess the characteristics of low-damaged, simple classification, and less recycling sources, thus pallets are the most valuable recycling products of logistics packaging. Take the most widely used wood pallet for example. The recycled pallets only require the simple processing of check and maintenance before they could be reused for a second time. Therefore, building the pallets recycling system is definitely beneficial to save common pallets'users cost and reserve the precious forest resources.Based on the theory of reserve logistics, this paper conducts a serial of research in different fields in order to solve the problem that appears in the process of establishing the comprehensive pallet recycling system. More details as follows.First, the author analyzes the problem of taking different recycling patterns in the process of pallet recycling and summarizes the factors influence the enterprises' decisions. Based on the advantages and disadvantages of the patterns, one comprehensive evaluation system is established. Then an evaluation model, which combines the Entropy, AHP theory, and grey relation decision-making method, is built by the author to address the problem of selecting the reverse logistics partner.Second, the quantity of recycled pallets is one of the most important factors that determine the scale of the reserve logistics network; and it is also the crucial parameter in the MILP model, thus the author puts much attention to discuss the issue of forecasting the quantity of recycled pallets in Chapter 4. Two different theories: regression analysis and Grey-Markovian model are used to discuss the problem. The result of the examples in Chapter 4 provides some parameters for the example in Chapter 5.Third, on the basis of the fact that pallet recycling system is a multi-level reserve logistics network, one MILP model, which aims at minimum the costs, is established to plan and design the network. And the author puts forward the example of Hangzhou pallet recycling system to verify the effectiveness of the MILP model. |
