In recent years, with the rapid development of our social economic and e-commerce, express industry has gradually developed into the emerging service industry to promoting national economic development and upgrading of industrial structure.The development of express industry has been the influence of other relative industries and services, on the other hand, its associated industries provides the opportunities to the express industry. Becase of express industry is in the infant stage, and the problems,such as poor productivity, vicious competition etc exist, therefore, it is important that analyzing the factors affecting the development of express industry from the related industry and input-output efficiency perspective .In this thesis, we first use SCP paradigm theory to analyze the market structure ,market behavior and market performance of express industry, sum up the micro-factors affecting the development of express industry, which concludes human resources, infrastructure and network resources. Secondly, we use industry association theory to qualitatively study development status of China's express industry and detemine the macro-factors, such as e-commerce, logistics, transportation, foreign trade, wholesale and retail industry and so on in the forward and backward linkages. Thirdly, we use gray relational method to quantitatively analyze the correlation between the express industry and related industries and sorte in accordance with the associated degree. The proposals and measures of express industry is given in coordination developed with related industries is raised. Finally,we use data envelopment analysis method to study the input-output efficiency. We find the problem,such as express industry investment's serious redundancy in various provinces in China, express industry employees, vehicles and locations spend too much, the output of the express business is too little. From needing control the number of express employees to increase efficiency; enhancing network management , improving the utilization of the network and controlling the number of transport vehicles to avoid waste of resources, the measues is given.
