Research On Telecom Value-added Share In GDP Trends And Impact

Telecommunications industry is the basic industry that supports the national economy and social development, it concerns the lifelines of the national economy,the security of the country's information and the social stability.It's the important basis for us to achieve a well-to-do society and establish a harmonious society. As the basic industry of national economy, the telecommunications industry has developed into a industry that can coordinated developed with various sectors of the national economy from the"bottleneck industry"which restricts the economic development. But in the background of our economic development's rapid and stable growth, the quicker change of the developing method, and the speed up of industries'upgrade, the proportion of the added value of the telecommunication industry in the national economy has been decreased for a continuous 7 years.This essay is to further discuss the impact of the telecommunication industry on the national economy from the trend of the telecommunication industry's percentage in the national economy. To analyse the trend of the telecommunication industry's added value in GDP's percentage by establishing prediction model, how should we know this trend, how this trend formed, and what kind of influence will be caused on the national econmy once this trend formed. The result of the research states that the percentage of telecommunication industry's added value will be further decreased, and its direct contribution to the national economy will get smaller. Previously the quality of national economic performance was enhanced by the direct contribution from the increased earning, but now it is enhanced by the indirect contribution from the permeation and overflowing effects. By this analysis, we discuss the reason for this result from six aspects, and propose some suggestions according to the problems that the telecommunication industry confronted now.
