Research Of Competitiveness Of Shipbuilding Industry Of Shandong Province

Shipbuilding industry is a highly export-oriented industry faced with the integrated market. It is also a state's strategic industry related to the national security. Sustained and healthy development of shipbuilding industry, on the one hand can stimulate national economic growth to create substantial employment; on the other hand, can also promote technological progress and strengthen the modernization of national defense. Therefore, increasing the competitiveness of shipbuilding industry, is important for the enhancement of our national strength and the degree of national security. This article pointed out the factors that affecting the competitiveness of shipbuilding industry, with researchment to the Shandong Province shipbuilding industry competitiveness and combined the current situation of the development of shipbuilding industry in Shandong Province with the other provinces to analyze the problems of shipbuilding industry in Shandong Province. That the low shipbuilding output, small shipyards, wide gap between the level of integrated technology, low production efficiency, the rising cost of shipbuilding and supporting industry that currently lagging behind China's shipbuilding industry are the major problems, which have seriously hampered the improvement of competitiveness of shipbuilding industry in Shandong Province. Finally, the article puts forward a series of countermeasures to solve the problems.This article is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is introductory section, this part describes the background, significance, review, research methodology, ideas, article structure and innovation. The second chapter is the connotation of industrial competitiveness, theoretical overview of the development and impact factors in order to gain deeper understanding of the shipbuilding industry competitiveness. And further describes the evaluation of shipbuilding competitiveness theory and methods for the analysis below. ChapterⅢanalyzes the development of shipbuilding industry situation in Shandong Province, comparatively analyze the Shandong Province and other provinces in the shipbuilding industry, by contrast, to explore the relative strength and relative weakness of the shipbuilding industry in Shandong Province, and to provide meaningful exploration for how to improve the competitiveness of shipbuilding industry in Shandong Province. ChapterⅣanalyzes the factors which constraint competitiveness of Shandong Province shipbuilding industry, providing basis for the following exploration of countermeasures. ChapterⅤuses the combination method of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis to analyze the competitiveness of shipbuilding industry in Shandong Province. Evaluation index system and model are built for a sound evidence base of the study of the development of shipbuilding industry competitiveness in Shandong Province. ChapterⅥis the conclusion and suggestion part, which bases on the competitive analysis and evaluation of Shandong Province shipbuilding industry, and analyze the background, the strategy for the increase of the competitiveness of Shandong Province shipbuilding industry.
