The Research On The Development Of The Shipbuilding Industry Under The Background Of World Shipbuilding Industry Shift

With the development of economic globalization, pace of international industry shift speeds up. International characteristic of world shipbuilding industry determines the center of world shipbuilding shifting among different countries, among different regions. Following the Western Europe, the United States, Japan, South Korea, China relying on advantages of natural resources, cost, and industry base and so on becomes the world's best selection area to undertake the world shipbuilding center. By first half of 2010, according to the British Clarkson's survey, the three indicators about shipbuilding of China is in a leading position with absolute advantage compared to South Korea and other countries. At the same time, we must recognize that under the situation of world shipbuilding center having moved to China's, there is still gap among China, Japan, South Korea and other countries, such as matching capacity, technical level, information construction and so on. Facing the severe situation, we should have a correct analysis on present situation of shipbuilding industry's development in our country under the background of the shipbuilding industry shift, analyze problems, and on this basis find countermeasures to let China shipbuilding industry have a nice and fast development.This paper adopts the form of case studies, following the logic of ideas from the theoretical to the empirical analysis. Combining with the theory of the world shipbuilding industry, this paper will give a detailed analysis of a series of questions in the development process of the shipbuilding industry and make constructive suggestions. This paper introduced the relevant theory about international industry shift, the development of world shipbuilding shift and the development of China's shipbuilding industry at first. secondly, it analyses the classification, path and motivation of the international industry shift from the level of basic theory aspects and makes concrete to the shipbuilding industry. Then it gives analysis of shipbuilding industry production capacity, supporting capacity, information construction, and research capability, level of management, policy and regulatory environment in our country. compared to with the other major shipbuilding countries in the shipbuilding capacity, the supporting capacities, technical level, shipbuilding productivity, the cost of shipbuilding price index and so on, we will find out the problem in the process of China's shipbuilding industry development:the development of shipbuilding industry chain is not perfect, lacking of technology, information construction is not standardized, policies and regulations are incomplete and so on. At last based on predicting the amount of the next few years, this paper will give the strategies and suggestions on the promotion of China's shipbuilding industry development under the premise of a rational expectation of the shipbuilding market.
