Study On The Driving Effect Of Industrial Zones On Nanchang's Economic Development

With the development of economic globalization, industrial zones as a kind of industrial development pattern for effectively promoting industrial agglomeration and the formation of synergistic effect play a more and more important role in the development of regional economy, many countries and areas set up numerous industrial zones to promote the development of local economy, and they achieve great success ultimately. After the China's reform and opening-up, the construction of our country's industrial zones also enjoys a comprehensive development, which affects the development of cities is also more and more obviously.This article selects eight industrial zones in Nanchang as research objects, using a method that combines empirical research and standardization of analysis, written by means of Multiple index comprehensive evaluation method. It picks out several indicators of industrial zones to establish an evaluation system; utilizes some related models; studies on the question about construction of industrial zones'driving effect on the economic development of Nanchang in-depth; draws the conclusion and puts forward the suggestion in policy. First, the article summarizes the development and transferring of both domestic and foreign industrial zones on the premise that background analysis is done. Then, it introduces the concept and characteristics of industrial zones along with the research theory of regional economic development, and it discusses the connotation of research on driving effect of city economic development. Third, based on Multiple index comprehensive evaluation method, after selecting gross domestic product, industrial added value, export value, employment, actual utilization of foreign capital number, actual utilization of domestic number, infrastructure investment, the main business income, and tax revenue as indexes, it sets the weight of these indexes and establishes related evaluation model. After that, the article chooses Nanchang High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Nanchang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Nanchang Xiaolan Economic Development Zone, Nanchang East Area Industrial Development Zone, Nanchang South Area Industrial Development Zone, Nanchang Hero Economic Development Zone, Jiangxi Xinjian long barrow Industrial Development Zone, and Jiangxi Anyi Industrial Zone as examples, selecting the data of all indexes from2003to2009and introducing them into the model. This passage finally obtains the diving effects on the economic development of Nanchang city by the construction of industrial zones of different periods, different places and different industries, respectively. Finally, on the basis that conclusion is analyzed, it puts forward the following suggestions:perfecting the layout of industries in the zones, establishing scientific investment strategy, innovating land management mode of operation, transforming government function positively, strengthening the consciousness of serving and attaching great importance to the environment, and strengthening support and coordinate etc.
