Study On The Reconstruction Of Cities And Industrial Spatial Gradient Transfer In Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone

With continuous deepening of the strategy of the Western Development, the regional development of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone has risen to national strategic level, and Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone has entered a new stage of development. The cities in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone need to enhance economic competitiveness, to develop advantage industries, to foster leading industries, so as to promote sustainable development of society and economics.In this paper, the space hierarchy system of the cities in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone is reconstructed by System Cluster Analysis, and the gravity value between cities is measured by Space Gravity Model improved, and then this research analyzes the radiation effect of Chengdu and Chongqing which are dual-core metropolitan area to other 14 cities in this economic zone. At last, the distribution trend of advantage and leading manufacturing industries belong to the cities in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone is analyzed by Location Entropy Theory.The study found that:the cities of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone in the new period can be divided into the first city, namely Chengdu and Chongqing as the drive, and Deyang as the secondary economic center, and 4 regional central cities, and 9 node cities as a support level four space hierarchy. Leading manufacturing industries spatial layout have formed in a shape that Chengdu and Chongqing expressway for the wild goose first, Deyang for the wild goose neck, Mianyang, Suining, Zigong, Leshan for the wild goose body, and 9 cities the rest for the wild goose tail. The industrial space transfer mechanism supported by the traditional policy area would be replaced with economic cycle and cities group gradually. The leading manufacturing industries transfer order in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone should be determined by space gravitational radiation degree and city space hierarchy. Six large leading manufacturing industries, such as electronic information, automobile and machinery equipment manufacturing, building materials and metallurgy, food and beverage, energy and chemical industry and agricultural food processing, have formed in industrial spatial gradient transfer order led by Chengdu-Chongqing which are first city in this economic zone.
