Research On Social Responsibility Of Chinese Food Enterprises

Enterprises as an important participant of the market economy, social and economic cells,closely related to the sustained and healthy development of society. Since the reform and openingup, China's food enterprises have been developing rapidly and now be an important part of thenational economy, plays a vital role in our economic and social development. However, in recentyears, China's food safety accidents frequent. Currently, some food companies have forgotten inthe pursuit of the interests of their commitment to corporate social responsibility, they escape orpull off to fulfill their social responsibilities. Such as Sanlu "toxic milk" Shuanghui "lean" and"fake eggs" and other events, fully exposed to some of our food corporate social responsibility isweak, does not fulfill its responsibilities and obligations. Food companies fulfill their socialresponsibilities, not only related to the economic efficiency of enterprises, but also related to theinterests of consumers and the construction of harmonious society.This paper firstly describes how it is important for Chinese food enterprises to fulfill theirsocial responsibilities; secondly, tells what Chinese food enterprises have done to fulfill theirsocial responsibilities and what they should but didn't do; thirdly, gives some reasons for the lackof corporate social responsibility from both internal and external aspects; finally, put forwardseveral reasonable measures, which includes strengthening the internal construction of enterprisesand improving the external social environment.The problem of Chinese food enterprises to fulfill the social responsibility is very importantboth in theoretical research and in practical life.
