| Over the past30years since reform and opening-up, migrant workers have made greatcontribution to our country's economic development and social construction. With the developmentof economy, there is new change among migrant workers, that is, younger generation is replacingtheir parents and becomes the main body of this group. Compared with their parents, newgeneration migrant workers have their characteristics and appeals. Among these appeals, theproblem of employment is still the most critical one. When they apply for jobs, they will meet kindsof troubles that make employment impossible. Under the new conditions, it is very important toovercome difficulties, explore new ways in solving problem of employment of new generationmigrant workers, improve their employment situations, and let them work respectfully.This paper analyzes the employment problem and its causes on the basis of deep analysis ofnew generation migrant workers' employment conditions. Meanwhile, the paper borrows ideas fromabroad of the experience of surplus labor transfer and gives methods of solving new generationmigrant workers' employment problem from different perspectives of government, companies andmigrant workers themselves.The author hopes that the paper could provide some valuable referencefor solving new generation migrant workers' employment problem and helps to find a way withChinese characteristics to solve workforce transfer. |
