The Geological And Geochemical Characteristics And Prospecting Prediction Of The Dachong Au Deposit, In Bapiao, East Of Guizhou Province

Dachong goldmine area is located in the transition part between the south-east margin of Yangze land and south China land, that is, the south-west margin of South China orogenic belt, the north-east edge of Youjiang orogenic belt, south China fold belt and the north-east part of Jinping-Rongjiang tectonic deformation area, between Caledonian Jinping syncline and Liping anticline.This paper has discussed the causes of ore deposits on the foundation by a comprehensive sorting out of the geological and geochemistry characteristics of mining areas, and also established the geological and geochemistry comprehensive prospecting model of this deposit and predicted the gold mine resources in this area.Quartz vein type gold is the main mineralization of the DaChong ore area, which distributed in north-east layer sliding face of a and two sections of PingLue group with "pulse shape" and "lens shape". The natural gold, pyrite, and poison sand are the main metal mineral of ore. The major modes of occurrence of gold are natural state gold and crack for gold. The prior structures of mineral are shape and the half crystal, crystal interstitial, and contain structure.The main ore tectonics includes massive, dyeing, brecciated, sugar, strap, and nets pulse.The gold mining’s minerogenic substances are mainly from ore-bearing strata, belonging to a ore deposit of medium and low temperature hydrotherm, Which mainly includes natural gold-quartz and natural gold-quartz-sulfide metallogenic stage.According to the geological and geochemistry model, it is for sure that the stratum and structure are the most important ore-controlling factors, gray laminated silty slate folder thick layer of tuff in section two and section one of Pinglue group and the fracture and intersection of the north-east mining area control the the output of the vein type gold production together. Silicatization and pyritization are the most direct mineral sign of gold mineralization. The greater wall rocks’alteration becomes, the better gold will enrich. Secondary halo of Au anomalies can be directly used to delineate the general existing range of alteration belt. As, Cu, Pb and Zn can be used as indicator elements looking for gold.Three prospecting target areas were delimitated this time. No. I and No.III prospecting target areas have been in practice alreadly with our concession site. Through drilling, grooves, trenches and so on, we have already delimitated I and II orebodies in No. I prospecting target areas, and delimitated III orebody in target No.III prospecting target areas. Even though, the deep still has a good prospecting potential.
