Clothing is considered as "the second skin" of human body; it contacts andimproves the thermal cycle function when covering the skin, and also is affected by theexternal environment conditions, then they form a human body-clothing-environmentsystem. The environment always plays a decisive role on the choice and functionalrequirements of clothing. Therofor, this paper combines field survey and climatechamber experiment to explore adjust adaptive mode of clothing isulation undernatural ventilation conditions, and human physiology parameters and subjectivesensation under different clothing conditions. The ultimate purpose is obtaining thebest clothing adjustment measures.Firstly, this paper introduces the thermal comfort field survey methods, instruments and data processing in Chongqing university natural ventilationclassrooms; obtain a total of763valid data,412men and351women. Research foundpeople’s adjust adaptive mode of clothing isulation in natural ventilation buildings:Relationship between annual average clothing thermal resistance and indoor, outdoorair temperature is consistent. When outdoor air temperature distributes in10℃~28℃or indoor air temperature distributes in12℃~30℃, there are obvious linear relationbetween annual average clothing resistance and indoor, outside air temperature; Whilethe air temperature distributes outside the area the average value will to be adjusted tolimit, no longer changing with the air temperature. People’s sensitivity of clothinginsulation to air temperature is0.1℃/clo. Clothing thermal resistance mostlyconcentrated between0.2~0.4clo in summer, accounted for83.71%; while it mainlyconcentrated between1.3~1.7clo between, accounted for60.62%; and mainlyconcentrated i between0.6~1.0clo, accounted for53.05%.Secondly, based on distribution and adjust modeof people’s clothing thermalresistance obtained from field survey, the paper chooses three clothing conditionsunder four typical temperatures, respectively, to research the differences of skintemperature and thermal sensation vote. The experiments are carried in climatechamber on October~December2012, all subjects are healthy college students inschool subjects; obtain a total of240data.From the data analysis we can say, the stabilization time of skin temperature andthermal sensation, as well as the maximum difference of skin temperature do not show significant difference under the same temperature level. When the air temperature is22℃,increasing upper or lower clothing isulation significantly improve thermal comfort, andthe effects have no difference; When the air temperature is16℃, increasing upper clothingisulation improves the thermal comfort bette than increasing lower clothing isulation; On thecontrary, increasing lower clothing isulation improves the thermal comfort better thanincreasing upper clothing isulation when the air temperature is10℃.
