Outlast viscose fiber is a kind of thermostat fiber. It not only can absorb and release heataccording to the environment temperature, but also can respond accordingly to the changedtemperature of the external environment. Beside it has a buffer role to the changed temperature.But seamless weaving technology is a high-tech modern weaving technology that can makefabric a basic molding weaving. The paper would be combined Outlast viscose fiber withseamless weaving technology. It researches the thermostat, comfort and appearance of theOutlast viscose seamless knitted fabric weaving. And the paper has reference significance to theapplication of thermostat to Outlast viscose fiber and the development of seamless knittingproduct.The paper makes a comparison between Outlast viscose seamless knitted fabric andordinary viscose seamless knitted fabric. It researches not only the performance of Outlastviscose seamless knitted fabric but also the effect to it between mixed ratios and weavestructures. Therefore, it sets up three factors: the veil raw materials, mixed ratios (Outlastviscose or ordinary viscose∶ nylon), the weave structure. The veil raw materials have two level,that is Outlast viscose and ordinary viscose. The mixed ratios are Outlast viscose or ordinaryviscose with nylon mixed ratios as veil raw materials. It sets up three ratios:50∶50,75∶25,100∶0. Weave structures use ordinary weaves in seamless knitted fabric, including plain knit,1+1false rib,1+3false rib.It tests the thermostat between Outlast viscose and ordinary viscose seamless knitted fabricby using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and the fabric surface up and cooling ratemethod. Through comparative analysis between them, it researches the Outlast viscose seamlessknitted fabric thermostat.The research shows that Outlast viscose seamless knitted fabric has performance of absorbheat, store heat and release heat. The absorb temperature range in21℃~34℃and27℃or so tothe endothermic peak. The release temperature range in7℃~31℃and13℃or so to theexothermic peak. The enthalpy of Outlast viscose seamless knitted fabric is increasing with Outlast viscose ratio increasing. When the ratio of Outlast viscose/nylon intertexture was50∶50, plain knit fabric’s enthalpy was larger than1+1false rib fabric’s and1+3false rib fabric’s,while1+3false rib fabric’s enthalpy was the minimum. But when the ratio of Outlast viscose/nylon intertexture was75∶25or100∶0, fabric texture had little influence on fabric’s enthalpy.The up and cooling rate of Outlast viscose seamless knitted fabric is slow than ordinaryviscose. It has good cushioning effect to changed temperature and has a thermostat function. Theup and cooling rate of Outlast viscose seamless knitted fabric is slower with the Outlast viscosemixed ratio increasing. Among the three weaves,1+3false rib is the slowest to the up andcooling rate of fabric, followed by1+1false rib, weft plain is the fastest.It is researched by orthogonal experiment method to comfort including moisture absorption,moisture-penetrability, air permeability and warmth and appearance including pilling resistance,resistance to hook silk sex, just flexible, wrinkles resilience. It selects the L9(34) orthogonaltable to experiment study.The research shows that comparing Outlast viscose seamless knitted fabric and ordinaryviscose seamless knitted fabric, the two fabrics have little difference among moistureabsorption, pilling resistance and resistance to hook silk sex. The warmth wrinkles resilience isbetter than ordinary viscose seamless knitted fabric. But the moisture-penetrability, airpermeability and limpness is worse than ordinary viscose seamless knitted fabric.Outlast viscose seamless knitted fabric’s hygroscopicity enhanced with increasing of theratio of Outlast viscose/nylon intertexture. And plain knit fabric’s hygroscopicity was better than1+3false rib fabric, while1+1false rib fabric’s showed the weakest. Secondly, fabric’s moisturepermeability enhanced with increasing of the ratio of Outlast viscose/nylon intertexture, andfabric texture had little influence on it. Thirdly, fabric’s air permeability weakened withincreasing of the ratio of Outlast viscose/nylon intertexture.1+3false rib fabric’s airpermeability was the best, while1+1false rib fabric’s was weaker and plain knit fabric’s was theweakest. Fourthly, the ratio of Outlast viscose/nylon intertexture had little effect on fabric’s heatretention. But1+3false rib fabric’s heat retention was the best, and1+1false rib fabric’s heatretention had little difference with plain knit fabric’s. Fifthly, fabric’s pilling resistance enhancedwith increasing of the ratio of Outlast viscose/nylon intertexture. And plain knit fabric’s pillingresistance performed best, while1+1false rib fabric’s had little difference with1+3false rib fabric’s. Sixthly, fabric’s resistance to hook silk weakened with increasing of the ratio of Outlastviscose/nylon intertexture. And plain knit fabric performed better than1+1false rib fabric, and1+3false rib fabric performed worst on resistance to hook silk. Seventhly, fabric’s flexibilityweakened with increasing of the intertexture ratio. Plain knit fabric performed best on flexibility,while1+3false rib fabric performed worst. Lastly, the ratio of Outlast viscose/nylon intertexturehad little effect on wrinkles resilience. And1+3false rib fabric performed best on wrinklesresilience, while wrinkles resilience performed worst.
