Space surface processing technology improves gradually along with CNCtechnology evolvements, now a wide range of cam indexing mechanism used inautomated machinery and production line. Because of globoid cam profilesurface of the complex spatial non-developable surface, the processing areindexing mechanism has a high technical requirements. The contour surfacequality directly affects the stability and service life of the indexing mechanism.Arc cam take the heat treatment with can significantly enhance the cam indexingmechanism stability and extending its life. This paper drew on existing machinecombined with the high-frequency quenching technology. Furthermore, thisthesis developed a seven-axis and four linkage frequency quenching machine.Arc cam high-frequency quenching machine tool control system on the basis ofhaving access to domestic and international multi-axis control system relatedtechnical information, the following aspects of applied research.1) To design the overall structure design and component parameters ofhigh-frequency quenching machine.2) According to cam quenching machine parts design, we selected the axisservo motor, and we completed process simulation of shaft analyzed simulationresults.3) To establish the arc algorithm model of high-frequency quenching witharc surface cam, we use homogeneous coordinate transformation method and useMATLAB simulation trajectory model in the axis feed pulse simulation analysis.We made model in the Simulink environment, through the analysis on simulationresults. Lay a theoretical foundation for the control of system optimization.4) The control system of high-frequency quenching machine with toolsystem was based on the FANUC18I control system. And we set the relevantparameters, the preparation of the main PMC program and configuration of theelectrical cabinets, electrical schematics, machine commissioning, tried to run. 5) Detection and inspection accuracy.
