Though domestic printing auxiliary equipments have made great progress in recentyears, there are still some gaps compared with foreign equipments. Products’ innovatingability is the key to improve the enterprises’ competitiveness. The development ofinnovative design platform on printing auxiliary equipment based on TRIZ hasimportant theoretical and practical significances for new technology development andproducts innovating ability.Theory and method of mechanical innovative design and Computer AidedInnovation (CAI) technology based on TRIZ were discussed in the paper, combinedCAI technology based on TRIZ and CAD first, and put forward the design modelreferred to as SMS, "innovative design strategy-innovative design method-innovativedesign solution". According to the model, innovative design platform of printingauxiliary equipment based on TRIZ was developed.The platform contains three modules: innovative design strategy module,innovative design method module and innovative design solution method. The first twomodules are developed by C#, and the third module contains the innovating solutiondesign system developed by Auto CAD/VBA. The platform use maturity predict tochoose innovating strategy, while designers can choose problem solving method ofARIZ 85C or technical evolution to conceives the concept of solution. Makes thefunctional analysis of the concept of solution from the perspective of function、signal、object and transforms them into the innovating solution design system. According tothe "function-behavior-structure" model and the innovating solution knowledge basebuilt with Access, query the agencies and field resources that match with the functionalanalysis and determine the ultimate innovative concept solutions. Finally, functions ofthe platform were briefly introduced and showed with two examples.
