Quick forging hydraulic press is a new type of forging equipment which developed in the1960s; it is mainly used in cogging the steel ingot and the processing of free forging, especially suitable for the forging of the high alloy composition material. With the rapid development of hydraulic technology and microelectronics technology, the development process on high speed forging hydraulic unit has been speed up.The traditional method to build original models mainly depends on experiences, and then relies on repetitive calculations to revise them. Most of the manufacturers and design units, including some of the large enterprises, basically followed these traditional design methods. The design is too conservative because of lacking of relatively modern design methods and means, which leads to extending the design cycle, lowing efficiency and the waste of human and financial resources. The competitiveness of corporations is restricted. All of results got by this method are feasible, but not optimal. So it is very important to develop the design method and enhance the design capability.According to the application conditions of the superior-driven Quick Forging Hydraulic Unit and the structural features of the lower beam, a structural model is developed and also I the parameters of the structure to optimize and the objective function are identified. The parameter models are built by using Solid Works and Optimizations are done by using Ansys Workbench to make sure the structure is more reasonable and standardized. As a result, the accuracy is greatly improved and the uncertainties of relying solely caused by the designers of personal qualities and experience are reduced. The qualities of complex parts are enhanced which plays a very good supporting role to the design of the key components. In the design process, this method could complete the traditional method and save time, improve efficiency by using the computer to finish the repetitive and time-consuming work once time. On the basis of solving the geometric model description and driver, linkage of the parameters and automatically updates of the model, the optimized design of the up beam is done, the results are relatively satisfied. The accuracy of optimization design is further validated, which provides a basis for the design of the key components of the Quick Forging Hydraulic Unit.At the same time, according to the application conditions, the methods of imposing the pre-stressed are studied, the factors which have effects on the preload are analyzed and the idea of the calculation of the preload is described, so this dissertation provides a theoretical basis for the pre-stressed frame.The dissertation takes pre-stressed frame of80MN superior-driven Quick Forging Hydraulic Unit for example, optimizes the structural parameters of the models by using bidirectional-way parameter interactions between Design Simulation and Solid Works so as to avoiding artificial modify the models repeatedly. By using this method, the design process is greatly accelerated; it provides an effective way for the design of complex parts.
