The problem of rock mass stability is becoming more and moreserious,as the space of people’s activity has gradually transferred tounderground.The analysis and interpretation of traditional engineeringgeological data are generally limited to the two-dimensional, staticexpression, which is difficult to meet the needs of spatial analysis.Havingbeen extremely widely used in the fields of geotechnical engineering andmining engineering, the numerical simulation technology has become a keytechnique of studying and solving rock mass stability for human.Theestablishment of model, as the most difficult step in calculation, will haveinfluence on the authenticity and reliability of calculation results.For this reason, take Axi gold deposit in Xinjiang as an applicationexample, this paper set up the corresponding numerical model of complicateengineering geologic body by virtue of Finite element analysis softwareANSYS,which introduces the model into FLAC3D from ANSYS by theinterface program in order to realize the analysis and evaluation of stabilityof the surrounding rocks, such as the stress field condition of underground、displacement、deformation and so on.This paper mainly discusses3Dgeological modeling based on ANSYS for stress calculation of undergroundrock, including the following contents:1、Reference to the idea of CSG based on volume modeling, thebottom-up modeling technology is set forth in detail which can besummarized as follows: Point'Line'Area'Volume, and terrain model、fault model、ore body model、model of collapsed granular media、isolationlayer model、model of room and pillar are constructed in turn.2、As for the terrain model, it mainly refers to the thought of the gridbased on facial model. The major procedure is the construct of skinningsurface in ANSYS after the3D coordinate of interpolation points obtained by interpolation gridding method of DTM in the digital mining software ofDIMINE.3、On the basis of Wire Frame based on facial model, I proposed theidea of extracting contour of geologic entity from geological section andthen modeling in ANSYS. This way always suits the regulation object withgeometry characters such as ore body model and model of collapsedgranular media.4、In the view of the difficulties in the modeling, such as data extractionand model duly simplified, the corresponding solutions are put forward.Finally, the model is verified by the calculation results.The results of this article are successfully applied in the practicalproduction of Axi gold deposit. The practice proved that it has the guidingsignificance to the mine enterprise’s safety in production and miningmethod’s optimization. Therefore, this research has the theoreticalsignificance and potential application value.
