As the understanding of the photochromic material is deepening continuously, p eople realize that the photochromic material has great utility in storage, anticounterf eiting, rewritable and other aspects. In recent years, a lot of organic photochromic compounds have been synthesised. Among the organic phtochromic compounds,spiro oxazine has the advantages of the quick speed of photoresponse and good fatigue r esistance, so more and more compound researchers pay attention to spirooxazines.This paper is about three kinds of spirooxazines photochromic compounds that contain double active functional group, that is SO-1:N-ethyl-3,3-dimethyl-5-carboxyl ic-9’-hydroxy spiro[indoline-2,3’-[3H]-naphtho[2,1-b][1,4]oxazine]; SO-2:N-allylic-3,3,5-methyl-9’-hydroxy-spiro[indoline-2,3’-[3H]-naphtho[2,1-b][1,4]oxazine];SO-3:N-c arboxyethyl-3,3-di-methyl-9’-hydroxy-spiro[indoline-2,3’-[3H]-naphtho[2,1-b][1,4]oxazin e]; And all have not been reported in any literatures at present.One of them is that use the cheap aminobenzoic acid to compound the expensive carboxy phenyl hydraz ine by the way of diazotization, deoxidation, acid separation, and neutralization.This way reduces the cost of the synthesis process greatly. The others are that use SO-2, SO-3to compound its indole ring by two ways. One way is the common Fischer i ndole synthesis method using high toxicity phenylhydrazine or phenylhydrazine deriv ative and3-methyl-2-butanone with concentrated sylfuric acid as dehydrator.The oth er is the Bishler-Mohlau Indole Synthesis method compounding directly phenylamine and3-Bromo-3-methyl-2-butanone.These three kinds of compounds are used different methods to conduct contrast synthesis, and discussed the influence factors in there a ction process, and conducted some degrees of doptimized synthesis.These three kinds of compounds are made detailed characterization by IR and HNMR and other means. And these three compounds have shown a good color performance.
