Comus wilsoniana is a unique hard core oil woody plant in China. Its fruit oil can be refined into biological diesel, which has excellent combustion property and dynamic performance. These advantages bring up the vigorous development of wilsoniana industry. Therefore, the problem of wilsoniana oil extraction becomes as urgent as wilsoniana fruit oil refining. However, unlike other oil extraction, there is no effective squeezing equipment response to the extraction of hard core oil at present. Therefore, according to the characteristics of wilsoniana scattered in the mountains, a new small cold screw press of hard core oil seeds is developed to apply to and individual family in this research. It has many advantages such as good oil effect, high production efficiency, low squeezing temperature, small size, low energy consumption, simple operation, long service life and so on.The pressing principle of single screw press is analyzed by simplifying the pressing model, and the pressing performance parameters of wilsoniana fruit is extracted by experiment. Both of these methods are combined to develop this cold screw press in this research.Summarize the research task, main contents has done as follows:(1) The low-temperature pressing theory of hard core oil seeds was analyzed. Some major conditions of realizing low temperature pressing was researched, including squeezing property, pressure and compression ratio as well as loading rate, pressing time and temperature in perssing process. A design scheme of apply for small cold screw press of hard core oil was presented.(2) The key theory and technology of screw cold press design was studied. Beside, combined with the press performance parameters of wilsoniana which is extracted by pressing experiments, the pressure distribution curve of pressed material flow in squeezing cavity has been worked out.(3) Combined the extracted parameters with the extrusion theory formula and empirical formula, a small screw cold press with wide range speed and pressure adjustable was researched. (4) Using hard core oil-wilsoniana fruit as raw material, the pressing process parameters of wilsoniana fruit was optimized by squeezing experiments. In addition, the pressing performance between the new researched machine and the existed equipment in market was compared.
