The domestic adhesives for pigment print is mostly polyacrylic ester at this stage. Itusually appears hot sticky cold crisp. Silicone Modified Acrylic polymer can be synthesizedwith good film forming properties, high strength, strong cohesiveness. In this thesis, seedsemi-continuous emulsion polymerization was adopted. The influences of initiator,temperature and pH buffer on emulsion polymerization were discussed and then the optimalcraft was confirmed.An APEO-free emulsifier system was constructed. Non-ionic and anionic emulsifierwere adopted as compound emulsifier. The compound emulsifier proportion COPS-1(Allyl2-hydroxypropyl ether sulfonic acid sodium): AFX3070(polyethylene glycol modified withfatty alcohol): SDS (lauryl sodium sulfate)=1:0.5:0.5, which was2.0%of monomer total mass;The dosage of functional monomer MBI (itaconic acid mono-n-butyl ester) was2.5%; Theproportion of soft monomer and hard monomer was3.5:1; The dosage of KH-570[3-methacryloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane] was4.0%, which was added in the later stage ofemulsion polymerization. At this situation, the emulsion has the best combination propertywith excellent stability, fine particle size, high percent conversion and low water absorption.Infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), Differential Scanning Calorimeter(DSC) and GelPermeation Chromatography(GPC) were used to characterize and analysis on the synthesis ofemulsion adhesive. And emulsion particle size was also tested by Nanoseries particle sizeanalyzer. FTIR shows that organosilicon was polymerized on polyacrylate. The curve of DSCshows that the glass transition temperatures of silicone modified polyacrylate was-19.92℃,which is lower than polyacrylate of-10.25℃. Nanoseries particle size analyzer shows that theaverage particle size is177nm and the its distribution is narrow, which appears subtransparent,fine and smooth, and also has a blue light.Synthetic polymer emulsion was preparation to fabric pigment printing. The influencesof emulsion dosage, baking time, baking temperature on rubbing fastness and feeling wereinvestigated. The result shows that when the emulsion dosage is20%, the baking temperatureis120℃and the baking time is3minutes, we can get the best property of adhesive film, which is better than other commercial pigment printing. Thanks to APEO-free emulsifiersystem during emulsion polymerization and measured formaldehyde content is much lowerthan the national limit values, it belongs to environment friendly product and has a preferableapplication prospect in the market.
