As the key processes in the steel production, steelmaking-continuous casting process playsan important role in improving the competitiveness of the iron and steel enterprises. Preparing anreasonable production scheduling plan is a significant way to improve productivity, reduce costand makespan, utilize materials and machines reasonable, furthermore, increase profit andenhance competitiveness of the enterprizes.Steelmaking-congtinuous casting process has multiple constraints, such as multi-steel,multi-process route, multi-parellel machines and so on. There are dynamic disturbances in theproduction, which may lead production disorder. Contructing the structure unit of thesteelmaking-continuous casting schedule system with multi-agent is introduced to solve theproblems, and achieve the whole objective of the system through the characteristics of eachagent and the communication among the agents. In order to describe the static structure anddynamic interaction, extended UML is introduced to the multi-agent system modeling, whichprovides assistance for the realization of the system. The functions of the system consist ofpreparing the production scheduling plan, collecting the production data and modifying the plandynamicly, with the system can realize scheduling effectively.Experiment shows that the system can prepare the production scheduling plan to meet thecontraints. When dynamic disturbances occurs, the systems can modify the plan assording to thecurrent production situation and ensure the stability and continuity of production.
