Cast iron material has good casting property, good damping property, good abrasive resistance, excellent machining performance and low sensitivity of the gap. So it becomes the first choice of manufacturing lathe bed and guide rail.HT300and QT600-3due to comprehensive performance is better, so the actual production generally uses these two kinds of material and the quenched ones.Now the factory processes large lathe bed and guide rail is, first the semifinished product is placed on a milling machine for rough milling, then fine milling, and then use the large lifting equipment move it to the grinder workpiece after rough grinding, fine grinding and buffing. The whole process of production cycle is very long, because the guide rail machine often processing some large pieces, such as the large lathe bed and guide rail, quality in general in a few tons or even dozens of tons, moving the workpiece is very difficult, need a few cranes working at the same time. It takes too much time to take the workpieces from milling machine to grinding machine.High speed and super high speed high efficiency deep grinding as an advanced modern grinding technology in general, beyond imagination high grinding efficiency, great grinding ratio, good integrity of workpiece surface, bring a revolution to the traditional grinding, demonstrates the modern grinding technology has great potential and broad prospects for application. Applying the high efficiency deep grinding technology to the manufacturing of longmen guide rail grinding machine material has important significance to expand the scope of application and to explore the efficient grinding technology. And provide experimental basis for using grinding instead of milling in practical processing for the future.Through the study found that, under the condition of high efficiency deep grinding, there are some certain corresponding relationships between grinding parameters and per unit width grinding force, grinding force ratio and specific grinding energy. In the coarse grinding stage should use the high wheel speed, fast speed of working table with appropriate depth of cut to get greater material removal rate, improying processing efficiency. Fine grinding stage in order to obtain good surface quality should choose a slightly lower wheel speed, slow speed of working table and the appropriate depth of cut. Cooling condition is important to the processing results in the experiment.
