In-situ X-ray fluorescence technique is a convenient, efficient and economic fieldsurvey technique, which has incomparable superiority compared with othergeophysical and geochemical methods. In recent years, with the development of theprortable XRF detecting equipment,In-situ X-ray fluorescence technique is more andmore widely used in the fields of geological survey. This paper dicussed quality controland appraisal menthods on in-situ X-ray fluorescence technique, and formed acomplete set of quality assurance system which was applied in the work area inXinjiang. This paper measured the40~80mesh,80~120mesh,>120mesh sample andoriginal sample with In-situ X-ray fluorescence technique, and analysed themeasurement results.Compared with the mesurement results of WD-XRF,this paperconcluded that sieving the samples to obtain80~120mesh size sample to bemesured will improve the mesurement accuracy and precision in In-situ X-rayfluorescence. And this paper summarized the experience of sample preparation ofIn-situ X-ray fluorescence technique, and formed standard sample preparationmenthod.Based on the error source analysis and practical application experience, thispaper formed the standards of the measurement environment, procedures andrecords and data backup, which can guarantee the quality of measurement andimprove the measuring efficiency. Combining with measuring characteristics and theexperience of laboratory analysis method, this paper formed the accuracy controlmethod and the stability control method, in which the quality control chart is applied, which can further ensure that the quality of the In-situ X-ray fluorescence analysis.Through summarizing measurement method of In-situ X-ray fluorescence, this paperdiscussed the method of sampling and formed the standard of sampling. Combiningwith the reference to related geochemical standard and measuring characteristics ofIn-situ XRF,this paper formed observation network layout principle of In-situ X-rayfluorescence technique.Eventually this paper formed the complete quality controlmethods and working methods in In-situ X-ray fluorescence technique.Through analyzing measuring characteristics of In-situ XRF and combining withthe requirements of the relevant geological survey, this paper formed a completequality appraisal methods. In this paper the messurement results of XRF in stationwere evaluated from reproducibility, consistency, different analysis method threeaspects. The messurement results of XRF in the field were evaluated from the system error inspection, repeated measurement qualified rate test, from significant differenceof the reproducibility three aspects. This paper made the measurement of In-situ XRF with observation networklayout principle which this paper discribed in the area of5.1km2and the4km profilein the survey area of Xinjiang and obtained a total of900groups of the measurementdatas of900groups of Fe, Zn, As+Pb, Mn, Sr, Pb, Cu elements. This paper evaluatedthe mesurement datas with the evaluation method from this paper, and the resultsshow that these datas comply with requirements of evaluation method. This paperaccurately delineated the anomaly area of the Fe, Zn, As+Pb, Mn, Sr, Pb, Cuelements with these datas. And In this paper, combined with geological information, the anomalies are interpreted.Proved the quality assurance system from this paperis scientific and effective, but also demonstrated In-situ X-ray fluorescence techniquecan be conveniently, effectively and reliably applied in geological survey.Practice shows that the quality assurance system which are formed by this paperis scientific and reliable, complies with the relevant requirements of geologicalsurvey, and provide standard and security for application of In-situ X-ray fluorescencetechnique which will make this method to be more widely used in geologicalexploration areas.
