As the global energy and resources become scarce, the energy and resourcesutilization in the product manufacturing and processing become the same importantposition with the manufacturing cost and quality control. The research of the lowcarbon, energy conservation and emissions reduction are urgent. The low carbondesign in products are based on the carbon emissions evaluation of products lifecycle process, and carbon emissions evaluation is effective on optimization theproduct design scheme and. improvement of the design process.This paper formulated according to the ISO14040/44life cycle assessmenttheory frame and the PAS2050standards for products in carbon emissionscalculation method of study, the model for product carbon emissions evaluation ispresented. Take Household Bean Juice Maker as the research object, calculate thecarbon emissions in different life cycle processes, take the results of carbonemissions to sensitive analysis, confirm the key elements of the product. Carbonemissions affecting, provide basis for low carbon design of products.This alsoprovides the foundation theory and technology support for the realization ofelectrical appliances’ low carbon manufacturing.In view of the complexity and replicability of the calculation process in carbonemissions, this paper develop the tool for evaluating Household Bean Juice Maker’scarbon emissions in the life cycle process with the C#programming language basedon the theory of life cycle assessment. The development of carbon emissionscomputing tool, will make the related theory and research result of this paperspractically. The tool could simplified the calculation process of carbon emissions insome extent and promote the calculation of carbon emissions and evaluationpopularity in the enterprises.
