The studyfound that in source reduction and effective use, the five kinds of industrial solid wasteas building materials mainly utilized also have the larger space.At the same time, to summarize the foreign advanced industrial solid wastedevelopment, we found that foreign developed countries dispose the industrial solidwaste generally according to the principle of ‘reduction, resources, harmlessness’ bypriority. Taking the waste head end control as a starting point, vigorously carry outclean production, to achieve source reduction. To take the entire process monitoringand management to the industrial waste, especially hazardous waste by means ofpermit, waste manifest and charges. And to construct the industrial waste managementsystem framework by improving the local laws and regulations and increasing theenvironmental awareness of security, so that better to control pollution and protectenvironment.According to the basic situation of Shanghai industrial solid waste and the trendof the development of it at home and abroad, we think that in the future, themanagement of industrial solid waste in Shanghai, need through the perfect legallaws and regulations, standard system and the system innovation, to improve theenvironmental management ability, encourage the development of new technology andnew products of industrial solid waste comprehensive utilization, and through thewhole process pollution prevention and control of the key enterprise. In these ways, wecan promote the development of the industrial solid waste management from themanagement in the end to the whole process management, and disperse disposition tointensive disposition.
