With the development of China’s national economy, the increasingly high demand forpipe product quality, the pipe straightening technology largely determine the level ofquality of the product. In the actual production, on the one hand, many pipe straighteningprocess lack the scientific theoretical guidance, rely mainly on practical experience toguide practice, be sure to straightening process will lead to instability, straightening andlow efficiency results, directly affect the quality of pipe; on the other hand, pipes in theheating, rolling, cooling, heat treatment and during transport, due to a variety of factors,resulting in multi-faceted curved pipe. The subject is based on the principle of oblique rollstraightener, the ordinary six roller straightening machine with roller straighteningmachine organic combine to form a new type of high-precision leveler, a combination oftheoretical calculation and finite element analysis of the entire straightening direct theprocess of in-depth study to provide a theoretical basis for the actual production.This paper discusses the development of straightening technology and straighteningtheory at home and abroad in recent years. Mechanics of materials and metal elastoplastictheory as a basis for analysis of the ordinary six roller straightening machine and tworoller straightening machine straightening process, reflecting both the advantages anddisadvantages of this paper by bending deformation analysis straightening process rollerstraightening force and bending moment, through the establishment of a new type ofroller-type curve MATLAB, to achieve a reasonable match between the two, and reachedthe complementary advantages, to select the optimal oblique angle, roll pitch and otherparameters, while giving showing the method of calculation of the amount of reductionand the amount of collapse.Visualization software using MATLAB language, so users do not have to understandthe complex calculation process, as long as the input of the basic parameters of the pipe,up to the discretion operator will be able to get the desired results, to improve theefficiency of the actual operation, has a strong practicalsignificance.On the basis of theoretical analysis and numerical calculation, using large-scale finiteelement software MARC finite element model of the6+2pipe straightening machine, by changing different parameters calculated solving the entire straightening processin-depthanalysis, the first variation of the stress and strain changes in straightening force andstraightening accuracy ovality, the validity of the calculation validation through simulationanalysis theory to provide a reference for the study of the new pipe straightening machine.
