With the increase of the mining depth of shaft,the appearance of mining pressurebecomes more and more high. The floor heave belonged to roadway deformation is aunversal phenomenon. Serious roadway floor heave directly affect the security and theproduction of coal mine,which caused coal mine with huge economic losses. The ourcountry of the roadway mechanism research made some achievements.But becausethe roadway is located in different geological conditions.The mechanism of the roadwayfloor heave is different also, The reaserch of floor heave is the difficult problem ofimportant science. To solve this problem, the paper is based on changcun coal mineS61#roadway, the roadway floor heave mechanism has been studied. The maincontent of this paper as follows:(1)The scene to collect rock samples. We do test of physical and mechanicalproperties of roadway floor rock in the laboratory. Using X-ray diffraction machinedetermination of the mineral composition of the floor rock. Analyze the waterabsorption of floor rock. We do stress test of roadway with the method of water crack todetermine the magnitude and direction of ground stress.(2)According to the computational models proposed by theory of elastic mechanicsand rock mechanics, the fields of stresses and displacements are calculated. Analysis ofthe relationship between ground stress and roadway floor heave,then provide atheoretical basis for the floor heave mechanism.(3)By using numerical simulation FLAC, Simulating the roadway surrounding rockdeformation under the actual support conditions. On this basis, this paper simulateddifferent factors of affecting roadway floor heave, which contain changing the size ofthe ground stress, the size of the principal stress and principal stress directions. Andthen simulate the effect factors of roadway floor heave,such as increasing roadwaydepth, water and so on. The main effect factors of roadway floor heave was determined.(4)This paper analysed the mechanism of the roadway floor heave. The mechanismof the floor heave was verified by field measurements and laboratory similarsimulations. The mechanism was determined. According to different affectingfactors,the corresponding method was put forward to control the floor heave.
