With the rapid economic development and more strict environmentalregulations,the demand of clean production technology and clean fuel increasessubstantially both at home and abroad. However, the available light sweet crude oil isbecoming harder and harder to get, in this way, it is absolutely necessary for theenterprise facing the gradually increased ratio of the heavy crude oil with high sulphurproblems to process more inferior crude oil.Both the availability of crude oil and pricevariance are factors which must be considered by manufacturing company,especiallyunder the circumstances that global crude oil price remains high, the price gapbetween inferior crude oil and high-quality crude oil is widened step by step, as longas the technology and equipment give permission, enterprises natural increase theprocessing volume of inferior crude oil, which can significantly reduce the cost ofprocessing crude oil and improve the economic benefits of the enterprise directly.In order to cope with the situation of growing demand on oil, The SinopecGroup pay more attention to the development of the western oil field.For example,Tahe oil field produced6.09million tons of crude oil in2008. In2015, this numberis expected to reach10million tons, but Tahe crude oil with high sulfur, high acid,high salt characteristics. So discussing its production process and how to use itreasonablly becomes a very positive meaning.Based on processing Tahe crude oil by the Company, this article analysed theproduction technology, the processing scheme of inferior crude oil and the processsimulation for atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit, and compared thetransformation of heat exchanger network device and then put forward reformed planfor the decompression part. This article also discussed issues related to technicalmeasures in order to expand the inferior crude oil processing capacity, choose themore reasonable process of improving the yield of light oil through optimizedconditions, make full use of resources and create wonderful harmony among thehuman, the nature, social and the environment.
