| Since the1980s, the concept of sustainable development gets full explanation, the problem of sustainable development between the human and the nature has been always a global hot topic, and we pay more and more attention to sustainable development between the human and the nature. In the United Nations Conference on sustainable development of2012,"sustainable development and green economy under the background of eliminating poverty " and" promoting the mechanism framework of sustainable development " are the two main themes,"assessment of the progress of sustainable development and the existing gap""actively respond to the new problems and new challenges""make new political commitment" as the three goals which contribute to build consensus, further advance the global, regional and national sustainable development. China takes sustainable development of the human and the nature as a long-term strategic objective, being given more attention.Firstly, this paper introduces research on the problems of sustainable development and some basic concepts related to index system on evaluating sustainable development. Then according to the latest statistical data in "Hubei province statistical yearbook-2011" and so on, using principal component analysis method to explore the Hubei province sustainable development status and changing trend from five aspects:population, resources, environment, economy and social. And calculating the weight of each indicator about various subsystems based on the score coefficient of each indicator and combining the Fuzzy Membership Function Model to analysis the coordinate development of Hubei province in the years of2000-2010. Finally, according to the conclusion in this paper, we will put forward related suggestions about the development of Hubei province in order to promote the sustainable development of Hubei province in the future. |
