The thesis mostly introduces the application of N-heterocyclic carbene(NHC)-Pd-imidazole (Im) complex in the amination reactions of aryl chlorides and canbe divided into the following two parts:1. A new class of well-defined NHC-Pd(II)-Im complexes was found to be anefficient catalyst for the amination reactions of aryl chlorides. Under the optimalreaction conditions, a range of secondary amines can be coupled to give the aminationproducts in good to high yields.2. A new class of well-defined NHC-Pd(II)-Im complexes was found to be anefficient catalyst for the amination reactions between aryl chlorides and primary amines.Under the optimal reaction conditions, a variety of primary amines can be coupled witharyl chlorides to give the amination products in good to high yields. |
