Along with the development of the construction industry, pile drilling slurry has become a major source of environmental pollution. It has been great urgency for the processing of waste slurry. Based on the actual situation Pile foundation construction site in Hangzhou area, this paper intends to draw a rational slurry separation method by means of combining the field tests and laboratory experiments. Processes experimental results by using data processing software, and draws out the relationship between operating parameters of decanters centrifuge and slurry dewatering effect, providing the reference for practical engineering application. Main results of the work are as follows:1. The paper studied the affects of gravity settling; centrifugal settling on separation effect, determined the appropriate solid-liquid separation equipment.2. The paper had a field separation test on pile slurry by using decanter centrifuge, by changing the parameters such as separation factor, rotational speed rates and feed flow, to study the affects of these operating parameters on supernatant containing solid rate, sediment containing solid rate and solid phase recovery rate. Processed the test results by using data processing software origin, obtain fitting formula between these operating parameters and the separation effects. According to the test results, determine the basic design parameters of decanter centrifuge for large handling capacity in accordance with the actual project requirements.3. Conducted flocculants selection experiments, dosage experiments and molecular weight experiments under the laboratory conditions, reached the optimum flocculants selection scheme.4. Through the analysis of the separated supernatant slurry, studied the method for the processing of the supernatant and carried out economic analysis on waste slurry separation by decanter centrifuge.
